Great to hear. I worked as a Security Engineer back in 2010, it’s super handy to have knowledge of Security Engineering when working in SRE. It’s also handy to have this knowledge when working in Security Engineering. For a Security Engineering track I’d also add looking into cross-site scripting, penetration testing, malware analysis, DNS, DDoS prevention and security automation.
